Meet Mindy
Mindy J. Erchull (she/her), is a professor of psychological science at the University of Mary Washington where she is also an affiliated faculty member in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program. She is a social psychologist and a Fellow of both the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science. She has been recognized as an emerging leader for women in psychology by the Committee for Women in Psychology of the APA. She has also been recognized as an outstanding teacher though her receipt of the Mary Roth Walsh Teaching the Psychology of Women Award from the Society for the Psychology of Women. She has published widely under the umbrella of the psychology of women and gender with work addressing feminist identity, the objectification and sexualization of women, division of labor and parenting, and menstruation and other women’s health issues.
