Kate Richmond

Meet Kate

Kate Richmond (she/her) is an professor of psychology and the director of women’s and gender studies at Muhlenberg College. She is a clinical psychologist. She has published widely in the areas of multicultural psychology, men and masculinity, transgender health, feminism, and trauma. She has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching, including the Paul C. Empie Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching, and has given invited talks both nationally and internationally. In addition to teaching, she maintains a private practice in which she specializes in the treatment of trauma and concerns related to gender.
